Dare County
Location
The Dare County office is located on airport road off US hwy 64 on the north end of Roanoke island. Travel US Hwy 64 , cross the Manns Harbor bridge over the croatan sound, travel approximently 1 1/2 miles turn right on airport road and go 1 mile to the airport. A separate office at Stumpy Point is responsible for fire suppression at the Dare County Bomb Range.

Open Burning
Open burning permits may be obtained online or in person from a county permit agent.
