Woodland Owner Associations

Do you sometimes feel you would like to have a group of like-minded individuals with whom to discuss your woodland issues? Wouldn't it be great to be part of a group that allows you to share information about loggers, consultants, prices, products, cost-share, agency support, and many other issues that you face as a landowner. Landowner associations offer information sharing and networking opportunities. These groups range from national and state-wide to county and multi-county associations. See which ones may benefit you directly and closely align with your ideals. North Carolina State University's Cooperative Extension provides a Woodland Owners' Association summary list with a brief description of each taken directly from the association website (additional notes not from the official website are in italics). If no website is given, the phone number of the Association's contact person is provided.
