Ralph Winkworth Forestry Center
Located at the Kinston Global Transpark, the Ralph Winkworth Training Facility features classroom accommodations. While at the facility, visitors may have the opportunity to view the NCFS's fleet of fire-fighting aircraft.
Classrooms & Training Features
There is a main classroom with integrated audio-visual equipment including computer-controlled overhead LCD projector, document camera, and DVD/VCR. The classroom can seat up to 60 students comfortably. Three additional classrooms can seat between 40 and 25 students with available portable audio-visual equipment.
All classrooms have wireless internet access.

Recreation equipment includes a table tennis and pool table and a horseshoe pit. The facility is within three miles of a par-3 golf course and a walking trail. Entertainment opportunities in the city of Kinston include local movie theaters, a bowling alley and skating rink.
